While summer in Victoria is a time for rest
and nature, it is also a time to celebrate life and
community. The Oak Bay Kiwanis Pavilion (OBKP) will be
hosting a Summer Garden Party on August 15 and is inviting
the Greater Victoria community to its celebration.
The by-donation event will be held at the
home of the Pavilion, 3034
Cedar Hill Road and is
open to all. “We are hosting a special day that includes
auctions, food, games, live entertainment and a celebration
of summer in a spectacular garden background”, says Brian
Beckett, Chair of the OBKP Foundation. The event will also
increase awareness of Pavilion programs that help complex
care seniors and their families.
